As the next two weeks had no more tutorials (aside from production steps that would be relevant for when I actually finish my animation e.g. compositing), it was just working on our animations for the screening on the 10th. From this, I didn’t actually keep track of when I moved to the next stages of production.

Around the end of April, I was still inbetweening. I figured that I should move onto lineart for Girl B, as she’s the one who is constantly on-screen. Girl A only walks across at the very beginning which is just a walk cycle, Mia also walks past in the hallway (aside from extra movement when she says ‘I cant, I’m working), and Girl D appears at the very end. Therefore, I decided to start the lineart on whatever I had sketched out.

I also started some of the lip syncing. In my sketches, I kept the mouth area blank and the face shape the same, but realised that I couldn’t leave that last as the face would need to be moving whilst the girls talked.

For the screening on the 10th, I got most of the linework done for Girl B. For the deadline this 30th, finishing that for the rest of the girls is gonna be my aim.
